The Carolina Panthers have confirmed that two key players will not participate in the upcoming game against the New York Giants. After a practice session at the Bayern Munich facility, left tackle Ikem Ekwonu and wide receiver Adam Thielen were ruled out due to injuries. Ekwonu is dealing with an ankle issue, while Thielen is suffering from a hamstring injury.
Safety Jammie Robinson is also facing uncertainty for Sunday's game as he is listed as doubtful because of a knee problem.
Despite these setbacks, all other players on the injury report participated fully in Friday's practice. However, six players are still considered questionable for the game. This group includes running back Jonathon Brooks, who has a knee injury; outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney with rest-related and knee issues; Jordan Fuller who is struggling with a hamstring problem; safety Lonnie Johnson with a quadricep concern; tight end Tommy Tremble dealing with back issues; and outside linebacker D.J. Wonnum who has a quadriceps injury.
Further details can be found in the full injury report along with information about the Panthers' depth chart and roster. Fans can also check out the Panthers' 2024 regular season schedule for more updates on upcoming games.
