The Carolina Panthers, currently holding a 3-11 record, are preparing for their final home game of the season against the Arizona Cardinals. The Panthers recently experienced a defeat to the Cowboys with a score of 30-14. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have improved to a 7-7 record following their victory over the Patriots.

Historically, the Panthers have performed well against the Cardinals, maintaining a 14-6 all-time record. This includes an 8-4 record at home and three playoff encounters where they emerged victorious twice.

As Carolina gears up for this matchup, attention turns to Kyler Murray's performance this season. After recovering from an ACL injury that affected his past two seasons, Murray is on track for one of his best years in the NFL. By Week 14, he accumulated 3,086 passing yards and holds a touchdown-interception ratio of 15-8. Additionally, Murray has contributed significantly to rushing with 455 yards and four touchdowns.

Murray's primary target has been tight end Trey McBride who leads in receptions (89), targets (116), and receiving yards (938). Rookie Marvin Harrison Jr., despite limited receptions in recent games, leads in touchdown catches with seven.

Running back James Conner plays a pivotal role in Arizona's offense. He accounts for nearly half of their offensive snaps with significant contributions both on ground and through air passes.

On defense, Arizona faces challenges due to injuries sustained by linebackers Mack Wilson and Jesse Luketa during their last game against New England. Despite these setbacks, safety Budda Baker remains a key player in their secondary with notable tackle statistics alongside linebacker Kyzir White.

In terms of interceptions this season for Arizona’s defense unit: Sean Murphy-Bunting and Garrett Williams each recorded two interceptions but no player has reached double digits yet.
